Minutes of The Management/Legal Documents Committee Meeting, Held on 02/23/2005

Minutes:

1. We discussed the Tilsner “How to Get things Done” Guide. Many of our sections for this guide have been completed! All of these sections are now available for viewing by the Cooperative on Tilsner.net. To view the completed sections of the Tilsner How to Get Things Done Guide, go to Tilsner.net, then:

In addition, Kait brought one more section that she had recently completed. This is the “General Overview of the Tilsner Budget Process.” We reviewed this section together. Rebekah is going to try and put this information into a flowchart format, which will make it very easy to read and follow. Then, Deneen will post this new section of the How To Get Things Done Guide out on Tilsner.net.

Next, we want to tackle the Bylaws for the Tilsner. Deneen volunteered to do this work on her own, and Kait suggested that Deneen was crazy. Kait is probably right. Therefore we will most likely split the Bylaws up, and let individuals tackle separate sections.

2. There were no issues for Garsten.

3. Kait and Deneen spent some quality time discussing the merits of using handheld devices like Palm Pilots or Blackberries, versus “old fashioned” paper organizers. Resident Kendra Neilsen stopped by for this lively conversation. Kait and Kendra prefer hand helds, whereas Deneen cannot be separated from her paper organizer.
