Tilsner Liaison Meeting
Wednesday March 5, 2008: 9AM

***Meeting held at the Black Dog coffee shop.
At this meeting we discussed various topics of interest, including:
1. Funding for the Tilsner window repainting project. Margaret is trying to get funding assistance from the City of Saint Paul, as part of their effort to prepare for the Republican National Convention. This is our top priority right now.
2. Reimbursement for the Tilsner website. We discussed what the Tilsner website was used for, and what fees needed to be reimbursed. There is an annual website hosting fee that is about $200.00 per year. Everyone feels that the Tilsner website is a valuable marketing and communication tool, and REE has approved paying for the website.
3. An update on non-artists living in the Tilsner, and the efforts of Artspace to reverse that decision by the IRS was given to everyone. Artspace continues to be very frustrated by this ruling and they continue to petition the IRS to reverse it.
4. Upcoming Artspace tours of Tilsner units…Artspace wants to bring some visitors through the Tilsner to look at our units. These visitors are from another Artspace property in Illinois.
5. Painting and Cleaning committee rent credits: we discussed that we need to review the current process for keeping track of rent credits, and reimbursing Co-op members who have these credits.
Multiple individuals have To-Do’s that need to be worked on in regards to the above items. We will be meeting again in about two weeks to discuss status of those To-Do’s, and next steps.
