| Brent Gonyea's Singing Avacado Heads definitely would have been in contention for an Art Crawl Oscar in the Strangeness category. Other examples of Brent's figurative spirit work includes larger pieces reminiscent of a blend between African, Medival, and Mad Maxesque post-Apocalyptic shields and weapons. A committed activist, war and peace are common themes in his work. (NP) |

| Much of the artwork available at the Art Crawl is priced in the under-$50 range. More expensive pieces are less likely to be sold to visitors casually browsing, a key reason why the Coop has been working to expand its online presence at tilsner.net, home of the 365-day-a-year Art Crawl. (NP) |
