Teena Janay Roberson has been an active clay artist in the Twin Cities since 1994. She has taught classes at various facilities in ceramics, jewelry, and is currently co-teaching beginning salsa dance at Macalester College. Teena is a 2000 Jerome Grant recipient and has shown her clay sculpture in museums and galleries in Texas, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. She enjoys creating playful functional work but is passionate about her unique clay sculpture which often reveals her inordinate love of beetles.
