Love Bites | Upright Egg | Station 4 | February 14

Sick of Hallmark cards and candy hearts? Had one too many bad relationships to still think that everyone, deep down, is a decent human being? Was the trauma of listening to a litany of names being called to come to the office for Valentine's flowers (knowing yours was not among them, but still hoping it might miraculously appear) one of your worst memories of high school?

Come play with us.

In The Basement Productions presents the 6th Annual "Love Bites" anti-Valentine's Day show, featuring scenes presented by twin cities theater companies Commedia Beauregard, Upright Egg, and The Flower Shop Project.

Doors open at 7:00pm, and the scenes start promptly at 8:00, followed by the musical carousing of Right From Rona and Supercollider (the artists formerly known as ZibraZibra). Conveniently located in a fully stocked bar, so when the feelings get too much for you, you can drown them out with drink.

You don't have to be single (couples are allowed, unless they are too disgustingly cute, whereupon they will be trounced out of the establishment with great ceremony) but you do have to be 21. $5.00 will get you in the door and amongst all the other bitter, cynical, and jaded folk.

And we'll have ourselves a good ol' time.
